Dr. Tieraona Low Dog's extensive career in studying natural medicine began more than twenty-five years ago. She studied midwifery, massage therapy, and was a highly respected herbalist, serving as President of the American Herbalist Guild and running a teaching clinic in Albuquerque, before going on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Tieraona opened and ran a successful integrative medical clinic in Albuquerque, NM before moving to Tucson, AZ to join the faculty of the Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She currently serves as the Director of Education. Dr. Low Dog is an internationally known speaker on topics ranging from the responsible use of herbal medicine and dietary supplements to integrative approaches to women’s health; with more than 30 publications to her credit. She serves on the editorial/advisory boards of Menopause and Explore journals, Prevention magazine and the American Botanical Council. She has appeared on E!, ABC’s 20/20, CNN, and is a frequent guest on NPR’s The People’s Pharmacy.

Wendy Wright is an adult and family nurse practitioner and the owner of Wright & Associates Family Healthcare. In addition, she is a Partner with Partners in Healthcare Education, a medical education company. She is the Past President of NPACE and the Senior lecturer for Fitzgerald Health Education Associates. She is the recipient of numerous awards and was chosen by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as the 1999 recipient of the New Hampshire State Excellence Award. In addition, she was recently inducted as a Fellow into the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; a position held by only 200 other nurse practitioners throughout the country. She presents nationally to different audiences and has been a speaker at over 300 conferences in 42 states. Wendy is also an Adjunct faculty member at the University of Wyoming - Graduate Nursing Program, on Medscape’s Ask the Expert Nurse Practitioner web site and is an editorial board member for Medscape’s e-journal.

Donna Weaver has been a nurse educator for the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta since 2000. In this position, she has been responsible for the development and implementation of immunization education and training materials for providers of vaccines. She has presented at multiple conferences, meetings and training sessions on vaccines and vaccine preventable diseases. In 2007, she was awarded the Chief Nurse Officer Award for Public Health Service.
